Favorite thing to do at Recess: Going down the slide, and playing on the bridge. Pretending to play magic, and hot lava.

Best thing that happened at School this year: Earning tickets to buy things, and the Halloween Party, and the Field trip.

What I want to do this summer: Play in the rain, go to the beach.

When I grow up I will be a Doctor.

 

Darren 18 months

Nicknames: Dare Bear, Bubba, Dare

Clothing Size: 2t pants, but going into 3t shirts

Personality: You are still the funny guy!! You make me laugh all the time!! But you are so sweet and caring too!! You are starting to say so many words and I swear you learn at least a new word each day!!

Things I Could Do Without: The temper tantrums that are beginning, and when you yell when Kyra wants to play and you don't. 

Item/Toy We Love The Most: Forward Facing car seat, you love seeing us and being able to look outside and see more than the sky!!

Item/Toy You Love The Most: Books, Cars, and Trains!! You love your Truck book and the Color book from the library.

Things I’m Loving Most Right Now: You learning so many new words, and watching you just explore. You are always learning and trying new things!!!

If you are on my Facebook you saw these already but these are my 6 favorites!! She was being a....well frankly a 3 year old! And I didn't get as many as I wanted to. But we both had fun with our boy free time :D

The Bowers

Saying "See you later" as everyone eventually does in the military, never gets easier!! The great thing about the military is getting to move around and see new things and meet lots of amazing people!! We collect friends, and have them all over the world!! Its an amazing experience and allows you to really get to know other cultures, and people, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. But I do hate having to move away from people who become dear to you!!

Julie is one of those people. She is an absolute sweet heart and was there for me willingly going out to pose for pictures when I first started doing them for other people. And honestly that first shoot of her is one of my favorites I did in the fields outside of town!! I have grown a lot since than and have been incredibly lucky to see her grow too!! She has gotten married and now has the cutest little daughter!! Her family is growing and will soon be a lot closer to each other and I am so happy for her!

I am sad that we will both be going seperate ways in a couple months, but like many other friends we have had to say "See you later" to I know I will indeed see her again in the future!!

Okay enough with the sappy rant...back to the real point of this blog, their most current photo-shoot!!

Darren is 2 months old!!

Oh baby boy, you are growing so fast. It is really hard to believe that 2 months has passed already. And you have grown so much since than!!!

Clothing Size: Still fits into a few 3-6 tops but getting really close to going into 6-9. And 3-6 pants.

Personality: Oh man have you recently came out of your shell more. You are always smiling and such a happy man unless you are hungry!! Most expressive little guy!!

Things I Could Do Without:  When you are really tired you fill your mouth up nursing than spit it all out all over me.

Love {52 WEEKS CHALLENGE}

I know I just posted a blog with tons of pictures of these two, but I can't get enough of how cute they are together. This picture really shows how truest in love they are!! And how fitting is it that my theme this week is love?

Elizabeth and Ryan Couples Shoot

I was finally able to get back in the field and do a couple shoots this past weekend!! The first was with my good friend Elizabeth and her husband Ryan!! Months ago when my first camera was stolen from our car, I had taken their pictures all dressed fancy and on their way to a ball. Unfortunately I never even managed to upload the images before they went AWOL so they never got them. I am so glad this time around has gone much more smoothly. And they were dressed just as beautifully!! I hope you enjoy looking through a few of their images!!

Personality: you are such a quiet little guy, mostly just hang out and watch faces or sleep. Only get mad when you think you are hungry, which is like always!!

Things I Could Do Without: you eating for like 2 mins than falling asleep and being hungry again just 5 mins later, it wears me out and ties me down to the table having to nurse constantly, but I'm sure you will get into a more routine nursing schedule soon!!

Item/Toy We Love The Most: the Boppy Lounger! It's nice to have a place for you to hang out!!

I can't believe your first month is already past...you have grown so much already and getting stronger everyday!! Can't wait to get to know your personality more and more each day!!

Speyer, Germany 2014

So I wanted to write this a long time ago, but the concept of having to re-save all these pictures back off my Facebook kept having me put it off! But it was needed to be done since the images are gone with my camera :( But I finally got around to doing it and I am glad to have them all saved on my computer, because we have great memories from this trip.

We took this trip to Speyer to see the Airplane/Car museum, it was our little last hoorah with the Cordells. They have come to be our best friends here and we were sad to see them move. But we were glad to get in this last trip and let Kyra and Liam run around and play and look at all the airplanes, which they both love!!!

Kyra still talks about it all the time, sometimes just seeing an airplane and she starts talking about the boats, and firetrucks, and Liam. She talks about Liam all the time. Now it has been like 2 weeks since they left or something like that, and she is finally realizing that he indeed isn't here anymore :( We look forward to seeing them again hopefully this summer in Texas!!

After the museum we decided the kids were too tired to go walk around in town, so instead we did a drive by of the church which was really pretty!
