Happy Halloween!!!

I decided to have a halloween party at my house this year, as you can see from the few pictures I remembered to take, that it turned out really well :D
Surrounded by beautiful people and amazing friends all of whom we are blessed to know!!

Kyra Trick or Treating for the first time, and checking out her stash!! She is getting soooo big!! Hard to believe next year she will be able to say trick or treat and be really excited about it!!

For more than one reason we didn't carve pumpkins this year, However we did sit down and draw on ours!! You can't ruin our Halloween no matter how hard you try life! This was was probably more fun for Kyra anyways since she could do it herself!!

19 months old such a big girl!!

Nicknames: Kyra Bug, Bug, Fluffy Butt, Butterfly, Booger

Clothing Size: 24 months-2T

Personality: Oh man I have to say I think we have hit terrible twos early!! Although you are still a fun loving, and happy girl. If someone tells you no, or takes away something you can't have you break down into hysterics. I hope this is just because of your teeth that are coming in a long with all the other fun stuff that has been going on with you!!

Things I Could Do Without:  Fevers, screaming in the middle of the night, and your teeth hurting you so much.

Item/Toy We Love The Most:  The Ipad. Sometimes when I am doing homework or cooking it really helps to distract you. You are so smart, you even no how to open the pbs app.

Item/Toy You Love The Most:
Your motorcycle, and moms bed. You love to drive between my legs over and over!!! And playing under the covers, just spending time together!!

Things I’m Loving Most Right Now: When we lay on the bed or under the covers and whisper, pretend to sleep and just do a lot of giggling that ends in lots of kisses!!

Things You’re Loving Most Right Now: Playing in the leaves, and going on walks while it is still warm! And carrying around lady bugs!!

Felt pumpkin for toddlers

So Kyra is obviously not old enough to do pumpkin carving next week she is gonna try to help but, I thought it would be great for her to have something else to play with as often as she wants that is halloweeny!!

So I went to the craft store and bought 2 sheets of felt paper. Cost like a total of 1 dollar, talk about a cheap craft!!

Than you cut the orange into a pumpkin shape.

And using about 1/3 of the black you cut out shapes for eyes, noses, and mouths. I did 4 of each.

Than you let them use their imagination. This would probably work better for 2-3 year olds than an 18 month as she didnt really get it. But we will play with it a few more times and maybe it will start to make since more!!

Project 52: opposites

So there is this tree near the commissary that I always love to look at in the spring half of it has flowers and the other half doesn't. Than in fall half of it turns dark red and the other yellow. I always wanted to take a picture of it, but never did get there. But today on our walk we found a tree that was just like it. Obviously it is two trees intertwined, but it makes a beautiful picture. So I thought it was fitting to show opposites!!

Project 52: Fall

Well if you have ever seen Germany in the fall, you can tell this topic was a breeze!! I just had to be patient until the trees I had been wanting to photograph in the fall, fully changed color!!

So Kyra and I made our way down there to check and sure enough they were all just such a beautiful shade of yellow and red!!

I have two pictures that show the beauty best. One that is a landscape style, and One that is more of a Macro.

No editing was done!

This one is just because Kyra is Adorable and looks so big!!!
