Fall Fun Series!!!

Hey everyone just swinging by to say: IT'S FALL!! Yup tomorrow it's September and although the first official day of fall isn't until the 21st, I always count the whole month of September in the Fall months!!

And although Christmas is my favorite holiday, Fall is my favorite season!!! Last year I did the 25 days of Christmas Series and got great reviews and everyone loved it!! So this year I thought instead of trying to think up 25 new things for Christmas time, I would celebrate fall!!!

So in the next 3 months be prepared to see (almost) ALL THINGS FALL!! I am so excited to share my love of fall with you and my dear Kyra this year!! So be sure to stick around, because starting tomorrow the fun begins.

Side note: Kyra slept through the night, I think we may have survived the Jet Lag finally!!!

More Snowmen!!

It's the final give away day. I hate to say this but it's gonna be for local people here in Wiesbaden just for the fact it would be difficult to ship without the treats going stale.

On Pinterest my favorite craft ideas are those of things that are being up-cycled to make something new. I had seen some snowmen made out of similar things to the puffs container I chose to use like coffee creamer bottles. But I decided since we go through puffs like its no ones buisness around here it would be easiest for me to obtain enough of these to give to neighbors and friends by Christmas time.

This craft was so simple it doesn't even need a tutorial. Find a snowman shaped container that is already white or that you can paint white. Than paint on eyes, mouth, nose, buttons, and tie on a scarf!!! They turned out super cute!!!

To win this prize today, of a snow man filled with the treats I make tomorrow, you need to comment on this post or on the link on Facebook with your letter to Santa. Winner will be chosen at random again. So lets see those letters, I know its been years since you wrote one so be creative.

They remind me of bowling pins!!

Sing your little heart out!!

First thing first the winner of yesterday's give away was Mari Salazar!!! I was glad to see a lot more participation this go round, there will be 2 more give away blogs in the future so continue to stop by and read :) Here are the picture proofs to keep it fair :)

I hope she is singing for joy when she wakes up this morning and finds out she won!!! Bet she could use some glitter in her home today! Speaking of singing, today we are talking about CHRISTMAS CAROLS....or just Christmas songs lol.

I love to listen to Christmas music...I say this but I mean it has to be in moderation. Lol because anyone who has ever worked an entire holiday season in retail knows just as well as I do that if you over do it, you never wanna hear a Christmas song again. I even caught myself singing those songs when I didn't know I was doing it. Or in the case of working at Coldstone I recall a coworker of mine *cough Kendra cough* and I even making up songs to sing to our customers for tips lol.

But here is my list of top 10 Christmas songs I love to hear each year

1.Blue Christmas: Elvis Presley (who doesn't just love to hear the king sing!!!

2. Winter Wonderland: Sang by anyone
3.Feliz Navidad: Jose Feliciano
4.Christmas Shoes:NewSong ( this one gets me crying every darn time I hear it)
5.Let it snow: Sang by anyone
6. I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas: Gayla Peevey ( what a funny song this is)
7.Carol of the bells: I love this one done by all kinds of artists. Am a HUGE fan of the basketball version this year, SO COOL!
8. Silent Night: It is just a beautiful song and so calming. The true meaning of Christmas
9.White Christmas : Bing Crosby ( love to hear him sing)
10. This Gift: 98 Degrees (lol okay that may date me a bit but my sister and I loved to listen to their Christmas Album when it first cam out and I loved this song)

Well now you know my Favorites, so what are yours?

Christmas card holder

This is gonna be just a quick blog about the awesome craft that I did for you all today!! With my fridge currently playing frosty, I was at a loss for what I was gonna do with all the super cute Christmas cards we receive every year from friends and family around the world. I wanted to have somewhere to put them, that they would still get the attention they deserve. So I started searching for a cute way to display them. And I came across many ideas but this was the one that caught my attention as it will be the most likely to be used. This being said it can also be personalized for anyone that wants one.... So you have finally made it to my FIRST 25 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS GIVE AWAY!!! One lucky blog reader will receive a homemade card holder free of charge from me!! And you will be able to pick what you want it to say, and look like.

I made ours say Merry Christmas in Hawaiian!!

You can use clothes pins, or paper clips to hang your pictures to the ribbon
In order to win you must comment on either this blog, or if you are unable to do that you must comment on the link that I posted on Facebook that led you here with your answer to my question below. Than at 8pm my time I will write stop on both comment sections so you know if you have missed the cut off. And from the people who have commented I will put your names in alphabetical order by first name. Than go on Random.com and put in the amount of people and allow it to randomly pick the winner. I will take pictures of each step to prove that it was done fair also. And will announce the winner on the next blog!!!

If you are not the winner I will also be making these to sale for 5 dollars each with 3 dollars for shipping. Unless your local than that fee will be waived. But I will need to know about these orders by the 10th in order to have them done quickly and out to be used. Sooner the better!!

I am so excited about Christmas and can't wait for it to finally get here, but the countdown and all the snow sure make the season that much more fun!!!
